Tectonic Machines

Automated manufacturing, as a service

We build autonomous factories that do final assembly, test and packaging for companies that make electromechanical products.

How it works

A customer sends us a product design. Our factory builds it, tests every unit and packs it for shipping. The robots do the physical work. Our software is an operating system for the factory. It reads the design, plans how to build it, runs the machines and robots, and records every test.

Why so much is still done by hand

Assembly is the slowest part of manufacturing to automate. Traditional robots follow fixed programs, and they struggle with products that change often. So that work is still done by people, and much of it moved to low-wage countries. We are building robots that use AI to learn new tasks, instead of being programmed for one.

The vision

Any company with a good electromechanical product should be able to get it built, tested and shipped without running a factory of its own. Our factories change from one product to the next in software, so small and large runs are both worth doing. Whatever machines and robots can do, they do. Over time we aim to make anything our customers need, for customers anywhere in the world.

Who it's for

Companies that design their own equipment and need it made, such as makers of drones, robots, vehicles, energy systems and industrial equipment.
